Jay Ryan Beretti is a French singer, songwriter, musician and producer whose music blends Americana, Country Pop and Rock influences with powerful vocals and timeless storytelling.
His international journey began in the late 1990s when he was invited to represent France in Memphis during the official Elvis Presley tribute marking the twentieth anniversary of the artist's passing. Shortly afterwards, he toured the United States, sharing stages with American legend Big Al Downing, whose confidence in the young artist would prove decisive.
Impressed by Beretti's voice, stage presence and musicality, Big Al Downing wrote and produced several songs for him, leading to the release of the album Runaway Heart. The project also featured contributions from Jerry Phillips, son of Sun Records founder Sam Phillips, creating a remarkable foundation for Beretti's recording career.
Over the following years, Jay Ryan Beretti continued to develop his own musical identity, blending Americana, Rock and singer-songwriter influences. In 2020, he released Superman, a more personal and introspective album that revealed another side of his songwriting while remaining faithful to the emotional intensity that characterizes his work.
In 2025, he revisited Runaway Heart in a contemporary production produced and mixed by himself and mastered by Ted Jensen (Sterling Sound Nashville). The single generated more than 70,000 Spotify streams and received support through Spotify Radio and Discover Weekly, reaching listeners across Europe, North America and Australia.
Continuing the creative relationship that began more than twenty-five years ago, Jay Ryan Beretti now returns with Once Upon A Time, a cinematic Americana ballad written by Big Al Downing and Rick Blanchard specifically for him, bringing another chapter of that remarkable musical story to a new generation of listeners.
